As a driving force in projects like Peabody & Sherman, Guerilla Welfare, Marrow Thieves and others, BassKase (aka producer/bassist Curtis Ruptash) has long explored combining dub, funk, rock, downtempo, trip hop, ambient and experimental influences to create unexpected musical canvases.

This release finds powerful bass and drum grooves layered with textures of Hammond organ, Rhodes piano, percussion, sweeping loops and dub treatments. The result is a collection of compelling, head nodding late-night treats with a healthy dose of sonic confectionary.
